a mark of life, a pleasure to witness.

Rani was married Sunday. A gorgeous bride, wrapped in a stunning red sari, ushered in to meet her soon-to-be-husband by a bag-piper.
The bride lived with my mom and I for a couple of years - she was an integral part of my childhood, and I always thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever met. I was honoured to be at her wedding, experiencing her joy.
Her nephews performed a traditional dance in honour of the bride.
There was a myriad of food and multiple flavors. Delicious.

We indulged in chai, my favorite tea.
Dancing ensued. There was joy in every gesture.
